The popular Scor Pal is back and even better...now in centimeters............
Scor-Pal is a versatile scoring tool that simplifies folding for both scrapbooking and card making ... or for any paper craft at all! This extraordinarily useful tool was invented by Diana Crick, an avid scrapbooker and card maker in her own right. The Scor-Pal is a blend of her desire to teach others and her experience as a tool design expert in the polymer clay field.
The Scor-Pal consists of two pieces: a slightly-textured scoring surface, and a scoring tool. The 12"x12" scoring surface is grooved in 1/2" and 1" intervals, but also has grooves for making gate fold cards, A2 cards, and brochures -- and the raised edges of the scoring surface mean no more crooked folds! The scoring tool combines with the surface to provide crisp, quick fold lines, and mulitple folds can be scored without having to move the paper. Great tool to invest in.....

You can make a variety of card folds from gate fold to tri fold.

Paper Punch Bento Lunch

I met Miss Dzuzi online and she is a bento mummy who bought the expression punches from my blog. When she started sharing with me about her passion to create healthy creative lunch boxes for her kids, I took on an interest to find out more. To my surprise....wow this is a real crafty healthy way to make our kids enjoy a nutritious and wholesome meal. We went on chatting and sharing with one another...I am happy to have served her the carla expression punches which she had been looking for a long while. Now this is what she made upon receiving the punches....


A "Bento" is basically a boxed meal that consists of a main entrée, several side dishes and rice in one box. Without cooking different dishes, or spending a lot of money to get different plates at restaurants, kids can get a rich amount of nutrition from one box. The colors and playful arrangements can certainly entice the young ones to enjoy and finish their snacks....Even more importantly, they're really delicious and prepared with love!
Here Dzuzi has sent me her own handmade lunch bento she made last week....Isn't it cute!

Wow...wow...I made it as the Artist of the Month for my craft group which I have joined for two years....I am so happy to be selected by Marianne our group leader from Denmark. What a surprise to start my New Year 2010 with this honor...




Here is my valita's fold card made using the Scor-pal for the December's Challenge....which I absolutely love......punches used from EK and Carla....leaf and maple....with a fringe flower in the middle....love it love it! Scissors from Carla too using the Victorian design embellished with gold stickers..

This is my valita's fold card done my Scor pal....for a card challenge.
It was my first attempt on my new Scor-pal.....Loved it!
I have enjoyed making the fold!..I made this for my craft pal Marianne from Denmark...Just want to share with you.
I made the flower with a carl sakura A punch and maple leaf....adding a fringed flower in the middle....

I had a great time at MPH Mid Valley yesterday.....I was glad to have met some new friends and shared my passion on punch art with them.....

Pavillion Times Demonstration.....September 2009

Hi ...I was back in Pavillion Times for another Demo in September. I met some real nice little friends as you can see in the picture who made some cute bookmarks with me. Punching is so easy friendly and kids just love it. ...By preparing some inexpensive colour papers and glue....you can create lovely handmade cards and bookmarks. It is such a satisfying craft..easy and achievable..The best part is children can self express and be creative in their own little way.

I will be back on December 3rd at the Pavillion Times from 3pm to 6pm.....Come get crafty with me!

My demonstration at MPH Mid valley.........

I had a great time together with the children at the MPH Mid valley demonstration last holidays where I showed them the versatility of these amazing punches and what they can produce by simply punching and glueing the punched pieces together.. The kids were very receptive and paid full attention as I punch, glue and paste the pieces to create a layout.
Punches are fun to work with and I love the art of Punching very much..
It's easy, durable and children to adults can enjoy the flexible.....

Come see me in Mid valley again this Sunday Nov 22nd 2009...same venue from 3pm to 6pm...
